Unit 3
Read the following letter then answer the questions
Dear Sarah
As you know, Peter and I have been looking for a house in the country. We think we’ve found exactly what we want . It’s an old farmhouse in beautiful countryside . It’s got a fabulous view over the valley . Mind you, It needs quite a lot of repairs and it hasn’t got central heating. It has two floors. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a kitchen and a living room downstairs. The kitchen is big too. However, we have to modernize it . Here is a large garden with several lovely old trees and there is a small stream which runs through the garden . From the garden we have a beautiful view of mountains and hills . There isn’t a garage, but that doesn’t matter because we haven’t got a car and a bus route runs past the house.
.. It’s a lovely place, but it will be quite expensive to do up .
We hope to move in July . You must come and see us when we do.
